Hackney Energy is a community energy group in Hackney, London.

Hackney Energy aims to create renewable energy and low carbon projects that benefit the Hackney community by:

generating safe, clean energy.
increasing understanding of climate change and the potential of renewable technologies.
increasing awareness of energy efficiency and tackling fuel poverty.
providing training and work opportunities.
being an inclusive organisation that provides opportunities for cooperative membership and ethical investment.
