As well as all things cooperative and community energy, we have lots to celebrate. Thanks to people power, our solar array ‘Ernie’ has been buzzing away for over three years now and is doing amazingly well. PLUS to add to the buzz, we are welcoming five bee hives to the site (with thanks to our pals at NaturesaveAND there’s more, our Energy Team will have provided f...

As part of Cooperatives Fortnight and Community Energy Fortnight, we are hosting a ‘Bee Solar Party’ at our community-owned solar array in Ernesettle!

Wednesday 3rd July, 15:00 – 17:30

As well as all things cooperative and community energy, we have lots to celebrate. Thanks to people power, our solar array ‘Ernie’ has been buzzing away for over three years now and is doing amazingly well. PLUS to add to the buzz, we are welcoming five bee hives to the site (with thanks to our pals at NaturesaveAND there’s more, our Energy Team will have provided free home visits for over 1000 homes in Devonport, Ham and St Budeaux as part of Plymouth City Council’s Climate Active Neighbourhoods project.

Everyone is welcome to come down to Ernesettle Lane, have a tour of the solar array, share some light refreshments, hear from an expert on the importance of bees and chat to the Plymouth Energy Community team, PEC Pals and Directors. Bee face painting, kid-friendly solar tours and solar toys will be available for younger party goers...
