Full description

This workshop is for social investors, investors in renewable energy, developers that want to support community energy and community energy organisations that want to develop new projects.

It will address one of the main issues facing community energy in the North West; tackling the barriers to financing/resourcing early stage projects and designing and delivering solutions to help overcome them.

Community share capital and social investment capital is available for consented projects, and there is a lost opportunity to reduce carbon and generate community benefits unless we can deliver solutions that help get schemes across the at-risk development stages.

You should attend if you are interested in financing or supporting community energy, if you are a social investor with a lack of projects coming forward in the North West or if you have identified a project that has not progressed due to lack of funds/capacity.
