Bristol Sustainable Energy Research Fund

The Bristol Sustainable Energy Research Fund (BSERF) is managed by the Centre for Sustainable Energy and funded by Bristol Energy Cooperative and the Centre for Sustainable Energy.

The fund has £10,000 available in the first round (2017-18), and it is hoped that this amount will be made available annually thereafter. Maximum grant available per application is £5,000. Applications are welcome for grant amounts between £500 and £5,000.

The primary objective of the fund is to support experienced researchers, both within or outside an academic setting, wishing to investigate or evaluate the relationship between people and energy contributing to the development of a more sustainable, equitable and democratically accountable energy system in the South West of England. Applicants do not have to be based in South West England, so long as their research outcomes are relevant and applicable in that region.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICANTS – 11:59 pm on January 31, 2018.
