Aberdeen Heat and Power Project case study

This 3 page case study gives an overview of the Aberdeen Heat and Power project, led by Aberdeen City Council. Initially built in 2007 to heat six blocks of flats, it then expanded in 2011 and again in 2012 to incorporate a wider district heating system, providing heat to a mix of dwellings and public buildings. The local authority set up a not-for-profit company to own, build and manage the system.

Useful for local authorities in particular.
