Community Building Energy Efficiency

An energy efficient retrofit of a community building is one of the most cost effective ways of reducing bills, reducing carbon emissions and engaging with the community on energy related issues.

This page will help signpost communities looking to take practical steps to reduce energy use in schools, village halls, churches or any other general purpose community building.

There is a considerable range of interventions available in all community buildings. These can be as simple as behaviour change advice, medium complexity insulation/renewable energy right up to a full energy efficiency retrofit.
