"Communities Living Sustainably" is a Big Lottery programme supporting twelve local sustainability projects with a climate change theme across England. This project on the Community Energy Hub aims to share what those groups have learned in delivering local projects on energy.
Communities Living Sustainably (CLS) aims to encourage behaviour change among individuals and communities so they can cope better with the environmental, economic and social impacts of a changing climate. 12 community partnerships of public, private and voluntary sector bodies have been awarded up to £1m each to deliver up to five years of community led sustainability interventions.
The Groundwork UK Learning Partnership is made up of five organisations each with expertise in tackling climate change and helping communities to live more sustainability. Energy Saving Trust Foundation is working within that partnership to support and share learning from the energy-related activity of the CLS projects.
