Full description

We are thrilled to announce an upgraded version of the Community Energy Hub .

Northern Powergrid have generously funded the improvements which include new functionalities making it easier to search and view resources, projects and events.

Events can now be added by members and feature a map displaying where the event is taking place. An optional attendance indicator allows members to let you know if they are going to attend.

Projects, events, organisations and resources can be tagged, making it is easier to see related information. Tags are managed and approved by Community Energy England to ensure they effectively and efficiently used.

Themes allow users to view information relating to a certain theme e.g solar, wind, efficiency. Locations can also be used to narrow down a search by region, allowing you to see other Community Energy groups or resources in your area of the country.

The Grid Connection page now provides clearer guidance and is easier to navigate.

In the ever changing environment we find ourselves in, for this to be the pinnacle central resource for all your community energy needs, we need all information to be up to date. If you do not have an account then please register, it is quick and easy to do and literally puts your project on Community Energy map. If you do have an account, we have been exhaustively updating all information on the hub, so ask that you sign in and check that your profile is up to date. This includes any information about your projects or organisation. We also ask that you add any forthcoming events so we can help maximise attendees.

If you are unsure of any of the functionalities, please have a read of our how to use page, which explains how everything works.

We welcome any feedback about the hub, including suggestions for resources or functionality you would like to see. This resource is for you, so let us know what you would like to see.
