Electricity North West are aware of a number of community energy groups who deliver projects to reduce, manage, generate or purchase energy in their region, and of the role they can play in the development of community and local energy projects including new connections, accommodating new generation and innovating for the changes that are taking place.

To ensure they are delivering the correct services to their customers who are delivering local and community energy projects. We are currently engaging with stakeholders to gather views to inform the development of our Community and Local Energy strategy.

They welcome everyone’s views whether you are already involved in community or local energy or are just interested. The consultation document should take about 15-20 minutes to read and there are eight questions to answer.
